Hello everyone, haven't been able to blog for ages due to one thing or another. Got access to a computer long enough to make a post.
Made this for my mum as she knitted a few things for me. This cute digi stamp was just perfect to make a thank you card with.
Thank you all for not giving up on me and hopefully I will be able to add another post soon!
Love Jess xxx

Have to go away for a while.

I will have to give up blogging for a while due to a few problems in my life, not sure when I'll be able to blog again so have posted a couple of cute cards I made recently with this gorgous Geisha Anya stamp. Hope it will not be too long, will just have to see!
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving your lovely comments ; )
Bye for now. Love Jess xxx

More Little Claire.

I made this card recently for someone really special. The reason behind me choosing it apart from the fact it being really cute is she has had hedgehogs visiting her garden for the past couple of years or so setting off her security lights in the garden at unsocial early hours of the morning. Teheeee!!
Products used: Little Claire stamp, Promarkers, Hero Arts sentiment stamp, Basic Grey papers Glossy Accents and flowers from my stash.

Got myself a Martha Stewart punch!

Sorry I haven't blogged for ages, work just gets in the way sometimes.
Treated myself to a gorgous Martha Stewart punch, really pleased with this simple little card I made the first time I had a go. Will be using it tones from now on!

Thank you Shirley!

A week ago I had a lovely suprise, a stranger called Shirley left a comment on my blog to hop along over to her's as she had left me a message. To my suprise she had given me a lovely award (my first in fact). Sorry it has taken me a while to give you a proper thank you, not being a whiz kid on the computer I had to consult my friend how to put the award on to my blog. Finally here it goes!!! THANK YOU!

Those last minute birthday cards!

You know what it's like you suddenly remember the night before that you have to post someone's birthday card the next day for them to get it in time for their birthday! WELL THIS WAS ONE OF THOSE!!!! (Including all the other birthday's I made things for in April) I had my camera close by so took a quick snap at about 1am, look closely and you will notice that the Glossy Accents is cloudy as it was still wet. ARRRGGHH! You have probably taken the opinion by now, and rightly so, that I'm not the most organised of people when it comes to making peoples cards well in advance and end up leaving them until the last minute. Even if I see a new stamp or new piece of paper and I know exactly what I'm going to do with it and who I'm going to use it for I always end up staying up to rediculous times in the morning the day before making stuff.

Back again!

Sorry it's been a while since I last made a post, April has been a very busy month with birthday after birthday etc. Don't worry, I have been snapping all my creations as I've gone, so I will now gradually add them to my blog.
I am a big fan of Basic Grey, so when the new range called 'Porcelain' was delivered to my local craft shop I needed (you all know what I mean!!!!!) one of the 6x6 pads and this is what I made!

Cute Little Claire stamp

Another cute card! Created using a lovely 'Little Claire' stamp and pearly Heidi Grace papers by Fiskars. I really like this image because the elephants look like characters from old book illustrations.

Sweet Magnolia

Created this card a few days ago using my new Tilda stamp. I wanted to use the chintzy rose paper from Making Memories, not sure if I went a bit O.T.T with it and the embellishments. What do you think?

A Little Pink Gem.

Really enjoyed playing with this cute stamp from Pink Gem Design. Got around to using some of my old craft stash, which Katy told everyone about in Blog Land when she featured me on her blog a few weeks back. The paper is an old Making Memories design and the sequins were an impulse buy from a couple of years ago, which I have only just got around to using (shameful!)

Time for another post.

This card was created using a lovely Hero Arts stamp covered in a dusting of Perfect Pearls (one of my favourites) to give it a subtle shimmer. Embossing was done using an Anna Griffin brass stencil and the paper is from K&Co's range 'Blue Awning'. To finish, I used a Dovecraft corner stamp, heat embossed with Distress powder and a few squirts of my forever faithful Stickles. Voila!

Set myself a little challenge

Finally got around to taking some photos so you can all see what I have been up to .
Set myself a little challenge, was blog hopping the other day and really loved some of the altered and more unusual stuff that I found. Really loved this blog - and it got me thinking, is it possible to take an image which I usually make look really cute and pretty eg Magnolia's and do something a little bit different with it but not making a complete MESS! This is what I came up with, let me know what you all think. Thanks xxWow getting these pictures onto here took some doing, with a little more practice hopefully I should improve! : )

Here it goes!

Hello everyone in blog land! Hope this works my first attempt without help from my friend Katy. This card is one that I gave Katy as a thank you for posting my cards on her blog, which resulted in all the lovely feed back you all gave me. Hope you like. Jess xx

Have been blog hopping for a couple of months and seen some great things to inspire me to start my own...... SO HERE IT GOES!
