A Little Pink Gem.

Really enjoyed playing with this cute stamp from Pink Gem Design. Got around to using some of my old craft stash, which Katy told everyone about in Blog Land when she featured me on her blog a few weeks back. The paper is an old Making Memories design and the sequins were an impulse buy from a couple of years ago, which I have only just got around to using (shameful!)

Time for another post.

This card was created using a lovely Hero Arts stamp covered in a dusting of Perfect Pearls (one of my favourites) to give it a subtle shimmer. Embossing was done using an Anna Griffin brass stencil and the paper is from K&Co's range 'Blue Awning'. To finish, I used a Dovecraft corner stamp, heat embossed with Distress powder and a few squirts of my forever faithful Stickles. Voila!

Set myself a little challenge

Finally got around to taking some photos so you can all see what I have been up to .
Set myself a little challenge, was blog hopping the other day and really loved some of the altered and more unusual stuff that I found. Really loved this blog - http://alcoholinky.blogspot.com and it got me thinking, is it possible to take an image which I usually make look really cute and pretty eg Magnolia's and do something a little bit different with it but not making a complete MESS! Look what Katy made me do!

After much persuasion from you know who I now have my own blog. Please be gentle with me : ) I can't promise that I will post as much as I would like to but I will do my best. Have been blog hopping for a couple of months and seen some great things to inspire me to start my own...... SO HERE IT GOES!
